ClimaGen
The aim of the ClimaGen project is to bring together 9 European cities (Belgrade, Gdańsk, Tartu, Torino, Trondheim, Cluj-Napoca, Eindhoven, Gernika and Thessaloniki) in building climate resilience and transitioning to low-carbon and cohesive cities and regions. The cities will implement various urban regreening and renaturing interventions through cross-sectoral cooperation and co-creation with the residents.
In the project, IBS works closely together with the two other local partners, Tartu City government and TalTech, to transform the public space in Annelinn into a resilient, renatured and regenerated urban environment. More speficially, IBS’ tasks include community engagement in the pilot area, in addition to assisting with the methodological set-up of the intervention and supporting the innovation processes, evaluation and replication actions.
