The survey of the Estonian language learning needs
In 2021, the Integration Foundation (INSA) will offer Estonian language instruction at level B1 to 500 third-country nationals (TCNs).To provide higher quality Estonian language instruction that better meets the needs and preferences of the target group, INSA has commissioned us to conduct a short survey to analyse the need and readiness for Estonian language instruction among third-country nationals.
The survey consists of two parts and uses two methods:
Quantitative (target group questionnaire survey), which includes designing a questionnaire and conducting a survey based on it.
Qualitative, which includes two focus group interviews. The focus groups are estimated to be 6-8 persons and target third-country nationals.
The analysis results will be the basis for a short report which will serve as a basis for the creation of the technical specifications for the procurement of the Estonian language training.
