The general objective of the study is to gain further insights into the development of competencies through training in the European Youth Programmes. Particularly focusing on opportunities for improvement. The information provided in the tender is accurate, and the service will be provided in the manner, at the price and with the team described. The data collection objectives of the survey are:

• The intentions and rationale of training providers that shape the design of training strategies;
• The relationship between training strategies and self-identified needs among youth workers and youth leaders, particularly in terms of competence development;
• The aspects at the structural and individual levels (e.g. funding, bureaucracy, organisational structures, competencies of trainers). Such aspects facilitate or hinder the ability of trainers to implement training strategies and to respond to the needs of youth workers and youth leaders in the context of training.
